DEA 015:12 Days Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara - Amboseli - Nairobi - Treetops - Samburu - Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara
Day 1:Nairobi -Ngorongoro Crater
Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and departure from Nairobi for Tanzania crossing the border at Namanga and arriving in Arusha in time for lunch. Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater for half day game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Breakfast and drive into the crater floor for a full day in search of the black manned lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and explore the crater for the other game that exist great concentration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before returning to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 3:Ngorongoro -Lake Manyara National Park
Breakfast at Ngorongoro and depart for Lake Manyara, overlooking the Rift valley and the lake. Lunch at the camp later afternoon game drive in the park around the lake where a great variety of game and bird life, including the famous tree climbing lions bare to be found. Dinner and Overnight at the Campsite
Day 4: Lake Manyara -Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Arusha for lunch and drive on to Namanga border where your Kenyan driver will meet you and proceed to Amboseli National Park. A brief game drive on the way to the camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in this park , which lies in a dried -up lake bed. There are swamps and springs fed up by underground Rivers from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro , which give permanent water to the wildlife. The animals are mainly found around the Ol Kenya swamp. On a clear weather and if there is no cloud cover you will see the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro which forms a beautiful backdrop to the park. The observation hill offers a view of the entire park and beyond afternoon game drive will follow after lunch Dinner and Overnight at the campsite.
Day 6: Amboseli - Nairobi - Treetops
Breakfast and depart for Nairobi enroute lunch then drive north to Nyeri for lunch at the Outspan Hotel. Special transport takes you to the worlds famous Treetop, on the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains, arriving in time for tea. All night game watching, from the comfort of your lodge where animals visit the water hole and salt lick. Dinner and overnight at Treetops.
Day 7: Treetops - Samburu Game Reserve
Early morning tea at Treetops and return to the Outspan Hotel for breakfast. Continue North for Samburu Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the reserve noted for its unusual reticulated Giraffe and Grevy’s Zebra. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 8: Samburu Game Reserve
An early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure, Lunch at the campsite and late afternoon game drive looking for the Somali Ostrich, Oryx and Crocodile. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 09: Samburu - Lake Naivasha
Early breakfast and drive via Thompson’s Falls, into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Visit to Lake Naivasha followed by a late lunch at a lodge. Continue to Lake Naivasha with a late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a Budget hotel.
Day 10: Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Drive along the valley, past Mount Longonot to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch at the lodge and a late afternoon game viewing drive in the reserve that adjoins the Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 11: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
An early morning game drive in the reserve noted for its black manned Lions, Cheetah, and Leopard. Lunch at the lodge and another game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 12: Maasai Mara - Nairobi- Departure
After breakfast depart Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi with lunch enroute arriving the early afternoon and drop off as per your directives.
