Day 01: Kilimanjaro - Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport off flight by a Destination East Africa representative, briefed and depart with picnic lunch boxes and drive for 03 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend down the steep walls of the caldera for a Half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge / Similar.
Day 02: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Breakfast and then descend down the steep walls of the caldera for another Half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. The Park is a paradise of woodlands and lakes that provide for abundant wildlife. Gazelle, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest as well as big cats, particularly the black manned lion, leopards and hyena. A multitude of birds including flamingos are sighted regularly. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro crater has been called a Garden of Eden. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge / Similar.
Day 03:Ngorongoro Crater Floor- Serengeti Migration Tours
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for the Serengeti National Park, arriving in at the Serengeti Seronera Lodge / Similar in mid afternoon hours. Optional game drive within Serengeti at 1600 hrs. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 04:Serengeti National Park Tanzania,Northern Tanzania Safaris
Full day in Serengeti with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs to give you an opportunity to explore this world famous park. The great plains of Serengeti are where endless streams of wildebeest and zebra pour south towards Ngorongoro or north towards the Maasai Mara. Our game drives will cover the varied habitats and eco-systems of Serengeti. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Seronera Lodge / Similar.
Day 05:Serengeti – Lake Manyara
Depart Serengeti after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes and drive to Lake Manyara via Ol Duvai Gorge, the site of the remains of prehistoric man for a visit to the museum and a short lecture. Proceed southwards via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at Lake Manyara Hotel / Similar in mid afternoon. At 1600 hrs, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is situated spectacularly between the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and Lake Manyara. The most famous spectacle is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of Acacia trees. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 06:Lake Manyara - Tarangire
Early breakfast and then descend into the Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Manyara is a Masai word for a plant used by local people in making living stockades for their livestock. Lake Manyara National Park is situated spectacularly between the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and Lake Manyara. The most famous spectacle is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of Acacia trees. After the game drive, depart to Tarangire National Park, arriving at Tarangire Sopa Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600 hrs enjoy a game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 07:Tarangire – Arusha - Departure
Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive back to Arusha. Early lunch at the Impala Hotel followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for flight departing to Nairobi, which will connect onto flight home.
