KENYA CAMPING SAFARIS

Kenya Camping safaris are designed for those in search of a real adventure, joining safari for who enjoy the unpredictable wilderness. On safaris you are expected to help with the camp chores. Your meals will be prepared by our expert safaris cook over wood fires. Those who join are from all walks of life and nationalities usually between 16 and 60 years. Age however is not the criteria all that's needed is a sense of humor, a willingness to participate and a spirit of adventure.

DEA 06:06 Days Amboseli /Lake Nakuru/ Maasai Mara

Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
After arrival met at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport briefed by a Destination East Africa guide and drive across Maasai Country which is enlightened by the sight of the proud warriors and wildlife scattered across the plains, often in cross proximity to domestic stock. Amboseli National Park is reached in time for Lunch and later proceed for evening game drive which enables you to explore this wonderful park set so picture sequel to the foot of Africa's highest mountain Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 2:Amboseli National Park , Land of Mount Kilimanjaro
Full Day in Amboseli with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya's most popular national parks. It lies 150 miles south-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 3:Amboseli - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast leave for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have picnic lunch en-route. Afternoon spent game viewing.
The Great Rift Valley is geologic phenomena, which divides Kenya neatly down the length of the country essentially separating east from west. Today's Rift Valley is characterized by uninhabitable desert and fertile farmland, flat arid plains, steep escarpments and 07 lakes in Kenya. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park and immediately embark on a game drive that takes you around the shores of the lake, made famous by its thousands of flamingos that form a pink hue across its shores. Lake Nakuru National Park is also a Rhino sanctuary and contains plenty of other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Budget Hotel.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous game reserve, the Masai Mara arriving at in time for lunch. At 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Budget Luxury Camp .

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Full days in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. Considered by many to be Kenya's finest game reserve, the 650sq miles of the Maasai Mara adjoin Tanzania's well-known Serengeti, forming one ecosystem. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topi, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. From June to September, the annual Wildebeest migration takes place when thousands of these animals sweep across the plain and seek out new grazing areas. Dinner and overnight at the Budget Luxury Camp .

Day 6: Maasai Mara - Nairobi-Departure
After early morning game drive proceed for breakfast, thereafter depart Maasai Mara and return to Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon and depending on your flight departure time, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
